This is frighteningly familiar, enough that I'm checking my head for the broadcast antennae. (More tinfoil!) Particularly the Amazonomancy...it's like checking a Magic 8-Ball, and about as understandable. <i>Hey, I wrote a book. And I got an agent. And my agent sold that book. And she’ll probably sell the next one, too. This is kind of awesome!</i> It is! It's so easy to get caught up in everything else (especially the "so how's it selling?" question) but hey, a book on the shelves? That's unmitigated awesome right there. Oh dear.
