The Stupid Prada Summer Van Tour: Baltimore, MD

It’s a brisk November morning in Baltimore, Maryland and I’m pleased to say that our first stop is a pilgrimage. Here we are visiting Edgar Allen Poe’s grave, and as you can tell, we’re humbled and solemn as we honor this master of literature at his resting place. Also, I just want to state for the record that that bottle of wine was already open and empty when we got here. Pinky swear.

We had to load up quick though- tomorrow, we’re due in Washington State, so it’s going to be an all-nighter behind the wheel! (Don’t worry, we’re letting a monkey drive, because we would never not drink purloined wine and drive.)
In honor of having the first tour report, I’m giving away 1 book of your choice (20 dollah limit, chickies) from Book Depository. They ship worldwide, so this giveaway is open worldwide! Leave a comment to win!
Join us on Wednesday at Mandy Hubbard’s blog for her report from Washington- she’ll be giving away a copy of Shadowed Summer, as well!

I’ve only had the opportunity to travel the East coast of the US as a child so this trip of yours is a great way for me to see the US in the present time. Make sure to post something deelish foodwise from every city…

As a Baltimorian (And NO, that’s not Baltimoron like some may say), I’m ecstatic that you chose our humble city as your first stop. FYI — a couple of months ago they–meaning crazy, fanatic Poe worshippers–re-created Ed’s funeral since he never had a proper one. I’d like to add that the full-scale wax replica of his dearly departed body was just…weird.
Thanks for stopping by and drive safe!
